As a mum of four I understand completely how difficult it can be to plan for your birth when you are worrying about childcare for your older children.
Our Childcare for Birth service is there to try to help to ease your worry about this aspect of your birth experience.
The Childcare for Birth service is tailored to suit your needs, whether its 24/7 standby for weeks 38-42 of your pregnancy or just weekends to cover your regular childcare. Your children are cared for in their own home - keeping routines in a familiar safe enviroment.
At our initial free meeting we can discuss your requirements. All packages include 2 - two hour visits to get to know your children and the family.
The dates/times which you ask me to be on call for you I will be in the area and fully contactable. As soon as you call for me to come over I am on my way and will stay until either your alternative childcare (such as granny coming up from where they live) or you or your partner comes home. If you have to stay in hospital after the birth we can arrange childcare so your partner can visit.
If your planning a home birth I can be there to make sure someone is there for the children - giving you and your partner the opportunity to focus your energy on the birth.
