Hello, I'm Sue and Maternal Touch is my brainchild. As a mum of 3 I found the lack of quality support and information for and about parenting frustrating and hope that Maternal Touch will fill in some of those gaps. I believe in empowering parents - we all have an inbuilt parenting ability, but sometimes it needs reassurance or support. I am a Doula and Little Signers Club babysign teacher among other things. I am also involved in all aspects of Maternal Touch. I am passionate about informed pregnancy, birth and parenting. I am constantly learning and reading about all aspects of parenting. I have been a Primary School Governor since 2004, I also completed an NVQ lvl2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (classroom assistant) in 2011. I have also previously taught adult literacy. In my spare time I enjoy reading and watching Monty Python. |
